Well, our 'lull' in activity is over...the girls are busy delivering G.S. Cookies (for those long distance orders, your pkgs will ship on Saturday!) and the children's handbell and choir have resumed, adding more car trips to the schedule. Ella is working on earning her Jr. Aide badge and has been co-teaching the Brownies & Daisy Scouts for about a month now. From this experience, she now has a greater appreciation for the challenge of engaging bubbly, flighty and active 7 & 5 year olds!
We enjoyed seeing old friends in Lakeway for their annual Superbowl Sunday party...all the kids pick up right where they left off, and the same is true for the grown ups :-). It seems our families are growing older, but we are staying the same...how does this happen?
We are still taking a hiatus from diving and horseback, and honestly, Natalie isn't sure she wants to resume diving. For Ella, horseback is still something she wants to do, but we are waiting for the weather to warm up a bit. Grace is really eager to begin violin and dance, and we will be exploring her options this spring.
There was much excitement yesterday in Puxatoney Phil seeing his shadow. The hopes that maybe our cold mornings will yield a small dusting of snow are renewed, though the reality is that our city is about 9 ft away from stage 1 water restrictions, because it is just SOOOO dry!
Our home is busy, our life is full, and we are looking forward to celebrating Valentine's Day in just 2 short weeks!
Love Much,
The Meissler 7
