It's hard to blog without a camera!

We are shopping for a new digital camera, but it seems the models we prefer are either astronomical in price or no longer made...which (of course) makes us feel old-er-ish. Yikes!

Nia and Ella have barrelled through the Harry Potter series and are mourning the loss of good reading material (and the ease with which we were able to slip into Potter world:-), but we are looking forward to watching the movies soon.

Natalie and Grace will be resuming their violin instruction either this week or next, and we are still searching for a replacement teacher for Ella and cello. David prefers the trumpet, Claire loves to sing, and all 5 are piano/organ players so our home has a melody just about all the time!

We are having our 'orientation' day for school tomorrow, and will resume our studies on Monday, full schedule. The kids are REALLY looking forward to it, which makes teaching them a joy!

Julie has let us know Shiner now has a middle name; Bark. The great thing is that we Meissler parents toured the Shiner Bock Brewery for our anniversary, and they sold dog collars so now Shiner can wear his name as boldly as he barks it! He's getting along great with Tater, and though we miss him, we are still confident that we made the right choice.

Well, that's all for now. Hopefully we will find 'THE' camera soon so we can get our pics updated!
