Over this past Thanksgiving holiday, our family celebrated in two states! The kids and I took our first solo road trip to Arizona, while Craig stayed in Texas to fulfill his Pastor duties, and to celebrate with the Hopp family as they renewed their wedding vows. He also managed to find time to complete the paving of our front walkway-yay!
In Arizona we were privileged to be with all the family on my moms side and celebrate Grandma Ament turning 90! We enjoyed the time spent with family, enjoying various dinners, excursions, and new experiences along the way. To wrap it all up, we had a fabulous Thanksgiving feast! LOVED visiting everyone, SAD that we aren't closer but GRATEFUL we are only 956 miles away :) !
What I learned/was reminded of:
My kiddos are TRAVEL WARRIORS!! All those miles in ONE DAY, w/ 5 stops to and 6 stops from!
Ella will be driving VERY soon - she was surprisingly adept at learning to and driving the tractor...
Natalie is the cousin whisperer, & has officially transitioned into young lady...
Grace MUST have a pen to draw with at all times, and paper, if you don't want doodles everywhere else...
David has a notable affection for large cardboard cutouts...
Claire is really starting to come out of her shell...
I CAN drive to AZ by myself with ALL the kiddos, and still maintain my sanity :)!
