Humble

I don't know HOW to say this, so I'll just blurt it out!

I haven't been on the Meissler Family blog because of a series of unfortunate events, not the least of which was a total and complete crash of the hard drive on our 'good' computer. (Good as in fast. Good as in perfect location. Good as in HAS ALL OUR PICS ON IT *waaah!*) That happened right after my last post, and then it was Christmas, and New Years, and Birthdays GALORE, and then early Easter, and then another trip to St. Louis for Dad, and then...and then....and then...I had a HUGE lapse in memory and could not for the life of me remember what the email address used to start our blog was!! For real and true.

I am embarrassed by this very humbling experience, especially since I tend to pride myself on my ability to keep the household running and keep track of special dates and events. A friend has told me this is a by-product of a certain change that has come early for me, on account of my hysterectomy. I will GLADLY blame the total and complete lack of ability to remember passwords and sign-ins on this change! Still, it doesn't change the fact that I am on the 'slow' computer, or that it takes twice as long to blog on account of the slowness, and that the computer won't 'read' my phone so that I can post decent and NEW pics!

I am frustrated, and yet also grateful that I FINALLY remembered the pass codes, out of the blue, while planting. It's a funny thing the way the mind works!

I'm off for now - and I WILL TRY to figure out how to get the computer to 'read' my phone....I really want to share with all of you glimpses into the happy life we live:).
