Ella Speaks!

I'm not really sure how to do this blog thing. Mom and dad say I have a lot to write about, but this is kind of weird. So here goes...
Tonight I have my horseback riding lesson. I am learning to tack up. To tack up is to put the saddle, reigns and I forget what the next thing is called on the horse. This is my 2nd time tacking, so I am excited!
I have a cello recital coming up on May 18th. I will be performing "Go Tell Aunt Rhody". The song is sad because a goose dies, but the tune is fun! I'm nervous!
I got a new bike for my birthday this year! It is a blue Schwinn Suburban and I love the brakes:-). I cannot wait to ride up the big hill in our neighborhood...mom says I need a helmet first, not to mention I skinned my knee (the same knee) twice!
I am studying mushrooms for a science fair. Did you know that mushrooms can be used to cure headaches?
I am not sure what else to write, oh! My sleepover is this Friday. We are sleeping under the stars in a tent in the backyard just like the American Girl (AG) Molly. I can hardly wait!
All for now,
Ella

Ella,
Your horse back riding lessons look like so much fun. There are so many things to learn when riding. Would you believe I used to ride too! I hope you had fun with your tent party.

Love, Miss Rachel
