Our 'crazy' season starts...

Here are some highlights from our past week:

• 3 of our 3 finch eggs hatched, and our new baby finches are gaining weight, strength and volume!


• Mid-week church has started up again, adding yet another night away from home...


• Ella performed the choral pieces she's worked on so hard with her homeschool choir. The 'perk' of the performance was the 'artistic' aspect, wherein the children created their own Who-ville type hats and sang the Who-ville Christmas song from The Grinch. (I personally enjoyed seeing those children who still saw this portion of the program as 'not cool' and being mortified by it, and the more mature students who really had fun with the display!)

Up for next week is Natalie's performance with the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio, doctor appts, more church, more school, more preparation for upcoming concerts...I can hardly believe we're entering the 2nd week in December already!!
