Thanks for the Memories!

It is just so hard to believe that a week ago we were in Arizona, visiting family & enjoying the bliss that is 'vacation'! We hit the ground running and are still trying to adjust from the time change...thanks to everyone for the happy memories, without the pictures we would wonder if we actually left at all!

Good news for both Grace and Ella on the foot front...G's nail is growing back beautifully (and fast!) and E is out of the boot, but has been advised to wear it at the first sign of tenderness. She is also in receipt of her orthotic insert and is going to be wearing it for a few hours each day until she is able to wear it all day. In order for her feet to straighten, she can no longer go barefoot anytime or anywhere (:-( , which is making life a bummer for her and yet she continues to take it in stride. "After all, it is only for 3 or 4 years", sweet girl!

We are on a school break until July 07, and it is odd. The kiddos enjoyed it the first few days, and then we had vacation, so we had been pretty busy at the start of the summer and didn't really have any down time. Now that we have had 3 whole days of nothingness under our belts (minus pool time, play time, tv/computer time and running errand/dr. visit time) the girls have already asked what of our curriculum for the next year has arrived, so that "maybe we can start early". I am truly blessed to have such eager learners!

The rest of the summer is already filling up with swim lessons, a possible ballet camp (free through a local church!) and late nights of hide and seek in the dark with the neighborhood children. We love our home, love our neighborhood and love our life! Thanks again to everyone for so graciously hosting us and for entertaining us in AZ....stop by Texas sometime soon and let us return the favor!

Love Much,
The Meissler 7

It sounds like you had a wonderful time in Arizona. My momma can't stop talking about what a delightful, well-behaved, intelligent group of beautiful children you have, and what a joy it was to have you all around. I just wish I could have been there, too! I'll catch the next visit, for sure. :)
