Hope your 4th was happy!

Ours sure was! The kids each decorated their own bikes and participated in our neighborhood parade. Grace even pedaled the entire route on her own, which was huge! After the parade was over we had a community picnic and Ella and Natalie participated in a 3-legged race. They are certain they would have won (they practiced all week!) had it not taken place 1) just minutes after it started to rain and 2) on a hill! Their rope untied and they tumbled on down, but it was definitely worth the memories!

Despite the rain, we were able to have some 'fun w/ sparklers' time come evening, and right as we finished we went to the backyard and were treated to an awesome firework display (contrary to the only pics I have of them) courtesy of Hill Country Village, a small town just minutes from our neighborhood. We didn't know we had front row seats in our very own backyard~we are so blessed!

The girls have started their ballet camps, and so far everyone is LOVING it...swim starts tomorrow for everyone but Claire so our day will be FULL. These are where the memories are made:-).

Have a great week!

Love Much,
The Meissler 7

That looks like such an exciting parade and neighborhood gathering! I wish we had neighbors like that. What a blessing. I'm glad you had a fun holiday! :) xoxo.
