This week was a good one...I've asked each family member to blog a bit about anything...Enjoy!
Ella: This week at horseback riding, I learned to postage trot around the ring without my teacher! I was able to make the horse trot on demand. I really like my new teacher; my old teacher never taught me to walk or trot on demand (she would do all the work for me). This teacher explains things from the horses point of view! I also skinned both of my knees this week. One by running in the dark, and running into the curb (but at least my shoes were on!). Two by building our tree branch fort after hauling branches. See you all (I don't want it ya'll) next week!
Natalie: Today Reagan Marquardt placed his hand over mine after we sat down from singing for Joy choir at late church! I really like him! This week I dove head first off the very high dive again. It is so hard to do because you have to keep your balance. I also learned how to come out of a belly flop when you think you are going to do one! My girl scout troop has earned enough money to buy one really big animal or 3 smaller ones from the zoo for adoption. I think we should buy 3, but we'll see.
Grace: We have a opossum outside in the back! Oh, but it is gross. It looks like a baby but I think it is a momma. I also think it is kind of cute, but it stinks like a skunk and looks a little like a rat. I was going to tell you that I found 2 bird nestes, one cocoon and some shells to show for my pizza party presentation on Saturday. I also saw a spider web. Those nature things are animal homes and I am going to show them and tell about them.
David: Dear Woody and Buzz and Zurg, mom will write this all down. Right mom? Good.
Claire: She can now say 'yes' or 'no' (not just variations of 'no') and she is such a sweet little dancer! Her favorite activity right now is to hold her dolly and dance around the house while her sisters practice their strings and piano. She is 'laughing gas' happy all the time, and such a joy!
Craig & Nia: This week promises to be another full one, with doctor appts, the usual business and bulk pick up in the neighborhood. Craig worked furiously this weekend on all the trees, trimming and climbing and hauling (and re-hauling after the fort fiasco!). Nia had a great girls night this past Monday and so was mentally well equipped to weather the first bout of baby-sat-baby tummy flu. (Vomit from your own kiddos is bad enough; vomit from another persons child all over your car is a completely different matter!) Thankfully, the rest of the crew remained(s) healthy. Here's hoping ya'll have a FABULOUS week!
Love Much,
